COSTA LABS
Founded in 1990 by Juan Costa Arenós – Pharmacy graduate, specialised in Galenic and Industrial Pharmacy – Laboratorios Costa S.L. is a family business, located in Vila-real (Castellón), born with the ambitious aim to apply pharmaceutical knowledge to cosmetic science
His entrepreneurial drive based on responsibility, teamwork and innovation laid the foundations of what Laboratorios Costa currently represents under the slogan of Alta Cosmética Científica. Tenacity and personal commitment allowed for the company to take its first steps, annexed to the family home. In 1997, it moved to its current location, a space designed to meet the growing needs of the company. In 2019, further expansions and comprehensive reforms were carried out to meet increasing demands, incorporating machinery and systems of greater ecological and energetic efficiency, tripling the production capacity.
A constant and progressive growth during 30 years has allowed us to become a national reference in this sector.

High Scientific Cosmetics
Since our beginnings, a fundamental pillar in the company has been the manufacture to third parties. Our history is summarized in a constant evolution directed to market demands, adapting our products and formulas, maintaining rigor and quality, being faithful to pharmaceutical formulation criteria. These 30 years have perfected our techniques and the precision in the percentages used of each active ingredient in each formula for an optimal result. That is why our slogan is “High Scientific Cosmetics”.

We carry out more than 60 new formulas every year, developing our own ingredients that provide unique properties and effectiveness.

We work under rigorous regulations and strict processes, carried out entirely in our facilities, providing our products the maximum quality. The fact that the microbiological and physicochemical control processes are carried out internally, ensure the supply chain is strictly overseen throughout.

By optimizing our manufacturing processes and using environmentally sustainable materials we aim to reduce our CO2 emissions.
A person throws away an average of 50 kg of packaging per year, which is why we are part of ECOEMBES. We contribute to the recycling of all our packaging. Its lifespan does not end when the product contained is consumed. All our waste is classified, treated and managed according to current regulations.
